So, New York City’s mayor (who I am generally a fan of) has decided we drink too much sugar soft drinks and stuff and wants to ban the sale of 16 ounce or larger drinks.    I’m not sure it’s a good idea for anyone to drink a vat of cold Coke, but I will say that sometimes those mega-large cups are deceiving.  Some fast-food restaurants are so obsessed with filling the cup with ice that you might have 90 percent ice and a couple of tablespoons of actual drink in a big cup.  And sometimes Rachel and I will buy a 32-ounce soda at the movies and share it…and probably half of it is ice.  So because of the variables like this I’m not sure such a ban makes sense.  What do you think?
